Facebook rewarded a 10-year-old with $10,000 for finding Instagram security flaw

Earlier this year, a 10-year-old — who is not even old enough to sign up on Facebook — impressed Mark Zuckerberg by hacking Instagram, the photo-sharing application owned by Facebook. The Helsinki-based boy genius, called Jani, received $10,000 from Facebook for identifying a security bug, Forbes reported.
Jani uncovered a flaw that allowed him to delete any written content on the social media platform by altering the code. "I would have been able to eliminate anyone, even Justin Bieber," the wunderkind told Finnish publication Iltalehti.
An aspiring security expert, Jani sent his discovery to Facebook via email. He verified his report by deleting a comment the company posted on a test account, a spokesperson told Forbes. The bug was resolved at the end of February. In March, the tech giant informed Jani of the fix and gave him his monetary reward.
Facebook's youngest white hat hacker

Jani plans to use the reward to buy a new bike, football gear, and new computers for his brothers, he said in the interview with Iltalehti. He ousted a 13-year-old to become the youngest ever recipient of Facebook's bug bounty program, which offers rewards to people who identify and report legitimate security risks.
Since it launched in 2011, Facebook's bug bounty has awarded over $4.3 million to more than 800 researchers. The program determines the payout based on a bug's risk, rather than how complex it may be. In 2015 alone, 210 researchers received $936,000 with an average payout of $1,780.

A quick guide to buying a watch

When it comes to buying a  watch,  you need to follow the right steps to be happy with your purchase. Consider these tips below;

• Determine how much you want to spend on a watch. You will see a lot of attractive watches, but there is really no use giving much attention to a watch above your budget. To make it easier, you can search within your price range to make sure you get results within what you can afford.
• You need to know what features you want your watch to have. The advert will contain the watch specifications. Please note that the more complicated a watch is, the more pricey it is.
• Think about the style of watch you want. It could be an analog one or a digital, sport, fashion, luxury one. Knowing this, helps make your search easier and faster.

• The durability of a watch is very important. The cover of the watch case is important for durability concerns. Go for sapphire crystal if you need maximum durability or go for mineral crystal if you are fine with your watch simply being "scratch-resistant".If you are on a tight budget, you may have to settle for acrylic crystal which is prone to light scratching.

• Familiarize yourself with the parts. Aside from the energy source, display, and time regulating mechanism, mechanical watches will have other external parts that you should familiarize yourself with so you can better understand what you are paying for and what needs maintenance.

• Read the product specifications carefully. Ensure the features highlighted on the watch are those you desire in a watch.

• Do not hesitate to ask any questions about a particular watch if the specifications are not fully listed. Remember that you will not be able to personally evaluate the watch until it reaches your doorstep.

• Always order from trusted online watch merchants. It is best to deal with an online website such as Ady where you know your transaction is safe and transparent.

Finnaly, TeeBillz denies rants about Tiwa Savage, says his account was hacked

After earlier rants on his Instagram page this morning, Tee Billz has allegedly opened a temporary twitter account and has been replying media houses. He says his real account has been hacked..He hasn't tweeted from his other account since April 13th ..Prior to his Instagram rants today, the last time he posted on Instagram was 2 weeks ago...

Worthy of note is the fact that, while Tiwa has been promoting her new video for weeks, TeeBillz hasn't mentioned it  on social media..That's so unlike him.
So, I guess the hackers deleted the posts themselves since he has no access to his accounts..
